GYROTONIC Corfu, is the first certified GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM studio, in the Ionian Islands and Northwestern Greece, and the only studio in Greece, that is completely devoted to the method first introduced by Juliu Horvath.

The studio offers:

GYROTONIC Corfu is situated in Corfu's city centre, easily accessible to everyone. The studio's attendees are introduced into a welcoming, serene and fully equipped environment.

GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM applies to :

• People of every age, and physical ability
• Athletes
• Dancers
• People who have suffered an injury. In this case, the method will be taught with the consent of a certified physiotherapist only.

Konstantina Agathou, certified GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS Trainer, is a professional dancer/dance teacher who first came into contact with the method in 2006 whilst being in Italy, dancing in the dancetheatre company “Motus Danza” and teaching classical ballet, contemporary dance, improvisation, stage presence, creative movement and Barre-a-Terre.

The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM's complete assimilation and balance to the physical movement of the human body fascinated her.

She trained under Arsinoi Tsakalogianni in Athens, and in the method's German Headquarters, where she studied under some of the greatest Authorized Master Trainers, and received her certification.

In 2012, in an effort to make the method accessible outside vast cities, she founded the GYROTONIC Corfu Studio, and has been constantly teaching there ever since.
